I realized I could do something recently and I’ve been kicking myself for not doing it all along since. I have this pair of pants that has been slung over the back of my sewing chair for like a year, they’re ripped in a way that cannot be repaired, and I thought just maybe the fabric will be useful for something else. I’m slowly accepting that there isn’t enough there to do anything with. Normally I would send old clothes off to the thrift store, but sometime they have just seen a few too many days for that. But there are other parts of these pants I could re-use, they were a pair of black khakis so they had a zipper that can come off the front, and they have buttons that can come off the pockets and off of the waistband.
